The Invisible Collection partnered with Vis-a-Vis to present an interior designer’s bedroom by Pierre Gonalons. The designer / architect used the Pierre Frey fabric from his collaboration with us earlier this year.
The Pierre Gonalons x Pierre Frey collection was inspired by the Italian designs of Dino Gavina, the creator of “ParadisoTerrestre”- for which the collection is also named. In his project for The Invisible Collection, Gonalons upholstered a sofa in the fabric “Fiori.” Fiori is inspired by three of Davino Gavina’s passions: the futuristic flowers patterns, Bahaus and Kinetic art.
The bedroom designed by Pierre Gonalons took inspiration from art deco, Hollywood and Versailles with its gilded edges and sun motifs found throughout the decor. The designer sought to create an atmosphere that was heavily influenced by the 70s, drawing from both classicism and pop art.
Isabelle Dubern, co-founder of the Invisible Collection, says of the collection, “We are delighted to also be working with Pierre for our first collaboration with la Maison Pierre Frey, an exemplary family brand.”
