Making of press kit Aloha

Wanting to present Pierre Frey fabrics integrated into everyday life, we approached the blogger Constance Gennari to inject her views on the spirit of the times. Passionate about decoration, through her blog “The Socialite Family” Constance gives us a glimpse of the daily lives of contemporary families. Beyond the decors of their homes, she opens a window into the soul of the family.

Here is the video of the making off !

Made in France – The film

Because French artisans are men and women of talent…
Because creating a fabric involves several steps and several crafts : the archives, the creative studio, the dyer, the hand screen printer, the weaver, the moireur, the upholsterer…
Because La Maison Pierre Frey is one of the rare fabric houses to still produce 70% of its fabrics in France thanks to its own mill, a facility that has been awarded the French Living Heritage designation.
We called upon young film director Antoine de Barry to show, with a fresh perspective, how “ Made in France” is now more than ever a real guarantee of quality and taste.

On the occasion of the release of its new movie, La Maison #PIERREFREY launches its #MADEINFRANCE campaign and is offering :

• A Facebook quiz “Are you #MADEINFRANCE” to define your decoration personality. Take the test on

• The discovery of trades and the unique know-how of French textile artisans through 6 mini movies posted on Instagram throughout the month of March.

• A Photo contest, starting on the 25th of March, during which participants will be invited to share their vision of #MADEINFRANCE decoration and win Pierre Frey products.

Video : Chateau Borély and Braquenié

The Château Borély and Pierre Frey, history of partnership. In Marseille, the chateau Borély is listed as an historic monument reopened to the public after four years of construction. As part of the complete renovation of this place, Christine Germain Donnat, curator, has conducted research in order to preserve the spirit of this house built in the years 1760-1770. Luckily, the room had been shot in the early 20th century. Palempores and Indian graced the walls and seats of this room. In the 1970s, the museum had already used Braquenié to replace missing upholstered walls by “Le Grand Genois.” Today, rehabilitation goes even further by the special reissue of an Indian for the armchairs, found in our archives and very close to the original pattern. Pierre Frey, both patron and partner, is pleased to have participated in this revival. Do not hesitate to visit this place. Borély Castle, Museum of Decorative Arts, pottery and fashion
